Are you an experienced finance professional looking for your next step? We’re recruiting for a hands-on Finance Manager to join a growing business based in Banbury. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the day-to-day finance operations, managing a small team and playing a key role in the company’s financial processes.
The role:
Reporting to the senior leadership team, you’ll oversee the finance function, covering all aspects of:
- Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
- Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Statement reconciliations
- Assisting with month-end and year-end processes
- Supporting financial reporting and audit preparation
- Streamlining processes and driving improvements where possible
You’ll lead a small, supportive team and will be someone who enjoys getting involved in the detail as well as keeping an eye on the bigger picture.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in a finance role covering AR, AP, and reconciliations
- A background in managing or mentoring small finance teams
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
- Comfortable working with accounting systems and Excel
- A proactive and hands-on approach
- Experience assisting with month-end and year-end processes
- A relevant accounting qualification (AAT, part-qualified ACCA/CIMA, or equivalent) would be an advantage but is not essential
- Duty deferment management
- Cash flow forecasting
- Process improvement and automation
