Quality & Environmental Engineer (Compliance Focus)

Leamington Spa| Full-Time | Monday–Friday

Brellis Recruitment is working with a well-established, UK manufacturing business based in Leamington Spa, who are looking to appoint a Quality & Environmental Engineer to support their site compliance and management systems.

This is a fantastic opportunity for either a graduate with relevant exposure or a junior to mid-level engineer looking to develop their career within quality, environmental and regulatory compliance.

The Quality & Environmental Engineer​​​​​​​ Role

Working closely with the Head of Quality, you will play a key role in ensuring the site maintains compliance with quality and environmental standards, as well as customer and regulatory requirements.

This is a systems and compliance-focused role, with involvement across audits, documentation, and continuous improvement of management systems.

Key ​​​​​​​Quality & Environmental Engineer​​​​​​​ Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain ISO 9001 (Quality) and ISO 14001 (Environmental) management systems
  • Assist with compliance to regulatory and customer requirements (e.g. REACH, RoHS, IMDS, COSHH)
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audits, including preparation and follow-up actions
  • Maintain accurate compliance documentation, records, and submissions
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) with compliance and regulatory input
  • Liaise with suppliers to obtain and validate material declarations and certifications
  • Contribute to quality and environmental reporting, including KPI tracking
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, and Health & Safety

About You

  • Degree qualified in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or similar)
  • Experience or exposure to quality and/or environmental management systems
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 (essential) and/or ISO 14001 (desirable)
  • Understanding of compliance or regulatory requirements within manufacturing
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work across teams

Desirable (but not essential)

  • Exposure to IATF 16949 (automotive standard)
  • Experience with IMDS or material compliance systems
  • Internal or external audit experience
  • Knowledge of NPI / APQP processes
