The role of Digital Marketing Manager owns and drive the company’s digital footprint across the group and lead with digital expertise to spearhead high-impact initiatives, leveraging SEO, AI search optimisation (AIO), and paid media to drive customer acquisition.  This is a predominantly remote role but you would be required to attend meetings 1-2 times per month in either Crewe, Coventry or Nuneaton.

As our Digital Marketing Manager, you’ll own and drive digital marketing strategies across the organisation’s digital footprint to support our growth objectives and marketing campaigns. You will lead with digital expertise and spearhead high-impact initiatives, leveraging SEO, AI search optimisation (AIO), and paid media to drive customer acquisition. You will develop and execute comprehensive multi-channel digital strategies designed to drive measurable customer acquisition and brand equity. You will own user funnels, martech integration, and visualise campaign ROI. This is a varied role which will drive best practice across our digital marketing campaigns and enhance our online presence.

The successful candidate will have an analytical mind and be able to spot trends in data to drive improvement opportunities to maximise ROI. You should also have a keen focus on UX and customer experience, helping us optimise our online content for the best user journey. You will also be responsible for reporting and tracking key metrics to ensure continuous improvement and communicating insights to the appropriate marketing teams.

Working closely with our marketers, you will Drive semantic SEO and Topic Authority strategies to succeed in AI-driven search (SGE/AIO) environments. Translate GA4 analytics and CRM performance data into actionable business stories.. You will be proficient in GA4 and understand the key performance metrics including website traffic, users, engagement, bounce rates etc. This will also include optimising user experience through our website. We are refocussing our website for AIO and you will complete this implementation and measure efficacy and impact.

  • Experience in WordPress in order to implement recommendations across our websites from a UX and SEO perspective. You will work with our Development Team to continually improve our site’s functionality, and maintain the website content.
  • PPC and paid socials
  • Supporting the team in implementing targeted PPC and paid social ads to support lead generation targets, with a focus on ROI.
  • HubSpot
  • Working with our Commercial Effectiveness Manager (responsible for managing HubSpot) you will identify opportunities across the HubSpot/Website interface to improve the CX, drive engagement and conversion.
  • Data Visualisation and Analysis. APIs. Data Science
  • You will be heavily involved in data management and insight. Using Data Studio, you will establish connections between data sources, organising and visualising to generate customer journey information, node efficacy and insight into which channels are delivering high engagement and conversion.
  • Intranet
  • As part of the implementation team for the new intranet, provide insight and support in establishing and maintaining the new platform.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Essential:

● 5+ years’ experience in a digital marketing role, specifically SEO and PPC

● Strong knowledge in GA4, SEMrush, WordPress and Google Ads

● Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and website design best practices

● Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
