Qualified Accountant (ACCA) | Leamington Spa | 6 Month Temp | £25.60 per hour

• Paid through PAYE, with no umbrella company

The company

Our client is an established accountancy practice in Leamington Spa. The team is very busy and needs an experienced, fully ACCA qualified accountant who can start straight away and make an impact from day one.

The role

This 6 month temporary Qualified Accountant role would suit someone who enjoys varied practice work and can pick up a client portfolio quickly. You will work with a range of clients, helping the practice stay on top of its workload.

• Year End Accounts - preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Tax - preparing corporation tax computations and self assessment tax returns
• VAT - preparing and checking VAT returns
• Client Work - dealing with client queries and building good working relationships
• Team Support - working with colleagues to meet deadlines and helping the practice manage its busy workload

Before you apply

To be considered for this role, you must be fully ACCA qualified, have at least 5 years’ experience working in an accountancy practice and be available for an immediate start. If you can’t answer yes to all of these, we won’t be able to progress your application.

About you

• Fully ACCA qualified
• At least 5 years’ experience in practice
• Experienced in year end accounts and tax for a range of practice clients
• Confident working independently with minimal handover
• Well organised, accurate and comfortable working to deadlines
• Available immediately and happy to commit to a 6 month assignment
